Ok so some people have been making crude jokes about how most of the people trapped in the hurricane were fat out of shape jelly bodies that were to lazy to make it out of the city in time...Of course its not true entirely (but its true some not all, are over weight)..This got me to thinking about the obesity epidemic and back to that bill passed some time ago to protect the fast food industry from lawsuits.

If you are myopic and cant see down the road, of course you cant see what the fast food industry is doing to your own country...We are practically leaping from one disastrous addictive epidemic, cigarrete smoking to one that might turn out to be potentially more dangerous than even smoking weed for example..."bad dieting"....

Of course for now people cant seem to put their finger on this issue...People have to eat and are going to get their food one way or another. Food is not like a smoking habit which you can up and quit one day like i did. And eating safe clean food is much much harder than one may think. Worse yet its those in the lower income class that are bombarded with the nastiest fatest most disgusting food available on the market. This happens in places all over america not only new orleans. (Houston residents can attest to this)

My question is how soon before some one challenges that ridiculous law that prevents law suits against fast food providers, how long until the goverment ever takes a real serious initiative to make sure that people eat right!!!!

Ps...dont give me crap about how the goverment cant tell you what to eat!!!!
They sure as hell tell you what to smoke (and you cant smoke weed), when will they make serious commercials stating facts like obesity is a killer probably worse than the ole mary jane that they dont want us to smoke!!!!

Limiting Lawsuits against companies is ridiculous; these companies aren't limited in the profits they unscrupulously make from people

Never happen

This equates to all the state run lotteries that pray upon all the poor people.. The lottery has the worst odds going as far as any gambling game..and who runs it the States do....... If they were going to allow people to file lawsuits against fast food companies, why not start lawsuits against state governments and there lotteries......... The states know they get most of there revenue from people on or below the poverty line. they are more guilty then anyone.....

Granted that true, but for now the issue is bad food being sold by the billions,
exploiting people while killing them slowly..
